Oxy-Fuel

Iconic brands & Marketing deadhead reforestation

Grupo PAVISA furnace designs reduce emissions through “oxyfuel” technology which eliminates the need for air combustion and heat recovery devises. This increases the temperature and eliminates the nitrogen ballast in the atmosphere, resulting in a significant reduction of emissions.

The main advantages of this technology are:

  • Lower levels of SOx and NOx; reducing Grupo PAVISA’S carbon footprint
  • Superior glass quality
  • Lower fuel consumption
  • No need to preheat the air
  • Faster furnace unloading
  • Increased productivity through control of variations in the combustion process

Reforestation campaign and river clean-up in the State Metropolitan Park “Los Remedios” (dam section), located in Naucalpan de Juarez, State of Mexico. With the support and cooperation of the Naucalpan General Environmental Management (NGEM), we successfully planted 400 pine-oak trees. The primary goal of the NGEM is to counter the effects of deforestation and to promote the forest restoration, preventing the loss of ecosystem services.
